The team behind Szymanski Financial Group is made up of qualified financial professionals who are passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their ideal retirements.
Robert Szymanski
FINANCIAL PROFESSIONAL
Bob helps individuals and families work toward their retirement dreams, offering comprehensive, holistic strategies designed to help them reach their financial goals in retirement — from helping to protect their life savings to developing effective income strategies and passing on financial legacies.
Bob has served clients for nearly 40 years — since his start in the financial services industry in 1981. He founded Szymanski Financial Group in 2014 and is a founder of the Georgia Financial Education Institute, through which he works to ensure that retirees and pre-retirees thoroughly understand their options.
Bob has passed the Series 65 securities exam and holds life, health and long-term care insurance licenses in Georgia. He holds the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Retirement Planner Counselor (CRPC®) and National Social Security Advisor designations. In addition, Bob has achieved The Master Planner Advanced Studies (MPAS®) designation.
Bob graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Sam Houston State University with an MBA, and the College for Financial Planning with a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Bob and his wife, Pam, live in Suwanee, Georgia. They have a son, Scott.
